Why not add a finishing touch to your greetings card with a personalised calligraphic inscription? The illustration gives an idea of a typical inscription, but each one is unique. A dialogue box will enable you to choose your own wording (maximum 40 letters).

The cost of a calligraphy commission depends largely on two things:

  1. What materials are used. Sometimes these can be simple and cheap – such as ink on paper for a design that is to be printed. Sometimes these can be expensive, for example when the writing is carried out on vellum.
  2. How long the work takes. This falls into two stages – planning and carrying out the finished work. Even for a simple piece, a good deal of planning may be required and this may take far longer than the final writing.

Because each commission is carried out to the client’s exact requirements, it is difficult to give a precise idea of costs. However, the pieces illustrated here are designed to give an idea of typical charges. Please contact Robert to discuss your project. He will be happy to tailor his work to your budget.
